Hey folks, If you try to remember back to E3 2010, you would've remember that one of the features announced was the ability to view feature length 3D Films on the 3DS, they even had Demo Units with 3D Trailers. Well... does anyone actually know what happened to that idea, it seems like most people, including Nintendo, have completely forgotten about it. I know you can use Netflix (NA customers only) to watch films, but not 3D films. Or are you not really that bothered about 3D Films on 3DS? Ciao Leon
Yeah, I remember they said How to Train You Dragon and Tangled would be on here. I guess they couldn't manage it.
Yea, I remember them talking about that, Im not too bothered though. I guess it would be nice to have though.
They said it would come in 2012 SO WHERE IS IT. IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR, WHERE ARE OUR MOVIES! I actually want them because I think it would be great! For when your bored somewhere out etc just pop on your 3DS, sit, chill and watch a movie.
Nope, not bothered. If I'm going to spend an hour or two staring at a tiny little screen, it's going to be because I'm playing a game, not watching a movie that I could watch on 3 other screens I've got available. I really like 3D movies, but not THAT much
Like Jalm said, I don't want to spend 2 hours watching a movie on a tiny screen... Movies on the 3DSxl however, might be nice.
I agree completely. The only purpose would be on the go viewing (and I'd be watching 20 minute TV episodes, not 2 hour movies).
I'm more bothered by the fact that Nintendo have completely forgotten about Flipnote Memo If they're not going to release it the least they could do is release the DSi version on the eshop
They did seem to forget about flipnote as they said it would be on 3DS then didn't give news for the longest time until recently. Maybe they are doing same thing. Would be cool for 3D cause I watch Netflix on Xbox rather then 3DS and phone mainly cause size.
It would've been nice to watch movies on the go and in 3D...But yeah, I can just watch movies on my TV instead. It seems that noone is bothered by this...
I'm a little sad that there aren't any 3D movies. I've watched episodes of Sherlock on my 3DS and those are about 1hr 40min long, and it didn't bother me. Honestly I don't see the problem with a small screen. If you can hold it close to your face it's basically the same thing to me. Also Nintendo Video hasn't had any good new videos at all recently. It kinda sucks. I'm sure the 3DS will get better as we get more software/system update stuff. I wonder what all Nintendo has in store for us....
I...don't...even...have...Nintendo TV... Also how did you watch Sherlock? Did you put episodes on the SD card (because I doubt you were using the Browser).
