3DS Operating System ?

That would be cool... Two months after release, when some of my friends get it . Or maybe it could be connected to skype? MSN messenger?

I heard Iwata say video chat is planned. Maybe not at launch, but it will happen.

I've read through the nintendo E3 site and couldn't find it anywhere, and I have watched the unveiling but I don't remember it. It was a while ago that i watched it and i'm refreshing myself right now

Video chat is almost a necessity at this point.

Oh, well then back on topic. It looks pretty cool but that yellow shouldn't even be a choice for the colour.

And to me it looks more like a photo menu then the main menu. Because the little images don't really look like much besides pictures. and the bird thing from the DSi is there which says to me it's some sort of media.

okay. it seems as thought there are two rows of icons. one for games/3DSWare. one for basic utilities, such as camera or game card slot. like the DSi, the main menu can have a picture at the top, though you may be able to turn that feature off. there is also a yellow bar at the bottom, with an unknown purpose.

just stating my educated guesses!

And it looks like it's flipping between pages sorta like the Wii menu.

or, sort of like the DSi, where you can swipe the stylus and scroll through the menu.

Yeah, or to a picture. That'd be an improvement over the DS. They could have picture that correspond to different skins for the actual system.
