I think that this game looks really fun, and I plan on renting it shortly after it releases. The game come to Europe on July 6th. and to North America on July 3rd. According to Wikipedia, here is the plot: "The game follows the events of the gods Chaos and Cosmos, a similar plot to Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PlayStation Portable. The space between the two is called Rhythm, which gives birth to a crystal that controls music. Chaos causes the crystal to become disrupted, and the only way to return it to normal is to increase a music wave known as "Rhythpo".[8] Along with Chaos and Cosmos, other characters confirmed to be featured include Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII, the Onion Knight from Final Fantasy III, Bartz Klauser from Final Fantasy V, Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII, and Warrior of Light from the first Final Fantasy title.[9] The character and monster designs are designed by MonsterOctopus, who also designed the Kingdom Hearts avatars found in Kingdom Hearts Mobile and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded". You will be reminiscing about many of the other Final Fantasy games in Theatrhythm. The game also reminds me of Elite Beat Agents, which was one of my favorite DS games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theatrhythm_Final_Fantasy
Okay. So I always thought, this is a dumb game. I always thought, why aren't we getting even a remake FF game. I always thought, why not a new FF game. I want a FF Tactics game. But the more I see of this game the more excited I am. It looks like lots of good fun. I maybe pre-ordering soon.
YESSSSS. I love rhythm games, and I absolutely despise the look of the Art Thief or whatever one. So I really hope this game is excellent when it comes out, as I'm very likely to purchase it.
I like rhythm games and this one looks interesting and I might get it, If I do then that's great however if I do not I will stick with my Rhythm Thief.
IGN posted an interview Ichiro Hazama, the game's producer. Check it out here: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/19/behind-the-scenes-of-theatrhythm-final-fantasy Sounds like a great celebration of the series in music. I missed a bunch of Final Fantasy games because I am Nintendo fanboy. So it will be great to experience 7,8,9 and 10 in this way.
I quite enjoyed the trailers they shown and I like rhythm games by the way so I really want to get this one especially since it's Final Fantasy. Looks like it's a good game, what's Rhythm Thief I might want to look into this. Just happened to of done a thread to help me find out which one I should get.
Its not going to be great, but as a fan of the series I will get it for all the nostalgic moments. I also hear there will be DLC for this which isn't something I'm not very keen on for this particular game.
