    Hey folks,

    I wouldn't hold your breath for the new instalment of Super Smash Bros. or you may suffer from fatigue.

    Sakurai just announced that they have only just started development for this already anticipated game. He also mentions how this is his first game he has ever announce before development has started.

    This basically means that he is warning us that it will be a long wait until the new SSB.
    It took two years after the launch of the Wii for Super Smash Bros. Brawl to be released, so I doubt the new entry will be released before 2015, 2014 at the earliest.

    I myself do not mind the wait as it's takes time to create a masterpiece of a game (usually) so this should allow them to include loads of new content at a high standard, and if it doesn't... I will eat my pants!!!

    Kidding. Thats too bad. Being the big SSB fan that I am, a 2-3 year wait is going to be devastating. However, I know Sakurai will make a masterpiece and if a 2-3 wait is what its gonna take, then Ill wait.

    I can wait for as long as I have to..... Im a huge SSBB fan so the wait will be hard but I guess il just have to stick with SSBB for a few more years and Play station all stars whitch will be out soon.

    That's from Nintendo Power. Guess I should have made a thread like this a few weeks ago when I got the isssue that had this in it. :p Oh well.

    But this isn't a surprise. Like I've said Sakurai is a perfectionist, he won't be finished untill he is complete happy with the game. Plus you add in that there are 2 versions of the game and production just begun not so long ago. We won't see the game until late 2014-early 2015.

    I don't mind, I already knew they weren't going to start it until KI:U was done, and of of course they weren't going to start as soon it was done. If anything, I'm happy with this news just for the fact they've started development.

    It better be better than Brawl if we're gonna have to wait that long but I think it'll be brilliant and as much difference between brawl and this one as there was with melee and brawl

    This is going to happen though because it takes ages to create SMB I was sort of expecting that time anyway I'm glad I won't have to wait till 2016 because that would be too much. I'm happy they are putting so much effort into making the game. I'm really looking forward to this in the distant future.
