What's ur favorite non Nintendo game ? I like HotShots Golf and Gran Turismo Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
This has little to do with the 3DS Wiki, so I'm moving it to General Gaming. As to my favorite game? I don't really know. My favorite series is Rune Factory, but I doubt I could choose a specific game as my favorite.
Uh this is hard. To be honest no non-Nintendo games really stand out that much, though there are a few PS3 games I could mention. Littlebigplanet is great with friends, though the online seems to be quite suspect for me. WipEout HD is an addictive racer, better than Mario Kart I'd say, because it's quite challenging. I've spent hours of my life playing CoD MW2 with my friend and my bro. That must be my best gaming experience.
I know I've said it 1,000 time and I'll say it another 1,000. Batman Arkham City(Hopefully we get a sequel and not a 1950's prequel.) Also love the Sonic series mainly Sonic CD and Adventure 2. Metal Gear is also becoming one of my favorites.
Littlebigplanet 2. Because you can making any and every game and genera. It;'s not a game for platform, its a platform for games.
I'm assuming that by "Non-Nintendo game" that this game must not have appeared on a Nintendo system/have any permissible relation to Nintendo... It may be a very difficult choice, and as some of you may know I typically mention more than one than one option in place of just one answer when it comes to difficult choices, but I don't think I've played a Non-Nintendo game that really tops: Fallout 3 WOW was this game an unexpected masterpiece! Bethesda knows how to structure a unique atmosphere and keep the gameplay itself VERY engaging. Due to some of the game-breaking glitches that some other masterpieces like Half Life and it's sequel don't suffer from, I was unsure whether or not to choose this game over the many other excellent titles I've played; but then I remember that it was Fallout 3 that changed the way I view modern-day shooter games and 1950's pop songs (plus this game spawned a habit of mine, which is to try new things and keep an open-mind while trying them out), and that's something I never would've seen coming, certainly not in that order! Just about everything about the game was unique to me at the time, and I can't honestly say that I've played a game since (or even previously) that's done what Fallout 3 has done (especially in the 'freedom-to-do-whatever-you-want' department), better. I used to be pretty a pretty sensitive kid when I was much younger than I am now, so it wouldn't be unusual for me to shead a tear or get emotional when playing a videogame (ie. when shadow fell to earth at the end of Sonic Adventure 2), but when I play Fallout 3, even today, I get 'a little worked-up. This is primarily because I've become a bit too attached to videogames, generally speaking (borderline videogame addiction), but also because of the memories I've had listening to the incredible music while doing whatever I want........I've probably said it before on this forum, but the game really is brilliant. IMHO. MY GOD four years ago I would've ignored classical tunes like ^this^, but now that I've shot a homeless woman's head clean off (in slow-motion) to this song, I think I've fallen in love with this music...!
Hmm... Monster Hunter Tri, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town,Probably any Kingdom Hearts games, and Star Wars Battlefront II
I love Rune Factory and I can agree with you all of the titles in that series are amazing. Even the Wii title. But I have to say numero 2 had one of the best stories out of all of them. For me I'm really a Capcom nerd, I love so many of their franchises such as Street Fighter, Megaman, and Resident Evil. They also just made a game recently named Asura's Wrath, its an ANIME/GAME! That alone is crazy enough. I also love Xenoblade Chronicles one of the best RPG's I have played up to date. --- merged --- Lol has lots of Kingdom Heart pic's and doesnt mention the game.
Finally, someone acknowledges Rune Factory 2's superiority! While it probably isn't the "best" in the series (given how many improvements Rune Factory 3 makes to the formula), it was by far the most enjoyable for me personally. I almost always enjoy Capcom's franchises as well, the few that I have played. I realize that they are one of the worst companies in terms of DLC and sequel abuse in the whole industry, but the fact that they're one of the great gaming companies of all time is unavoidable, as well as one of the closest 3rd party developers to Nintendo (we mustn't forget the Capcom Five).
