I'd love to get it, but I don't have a 360. I have (so far) enjoyed my encounters with Halo, so I'll probably pick up an older title for PC.
EDIT: 900th Post! Wow 800-900 went really quickly.

I had pre-ordered the limited collector's edition, but cancelled it for now. I think I'll just stick with the standard edition with this game. Not too worried about getting the extra maps. I hope they update a few things in this game, as the last version got old very fast (in my opinion). The guns in the last game was my most disappointment in the game, they just felt too weak.

For anyone who has played Halo 4, is it any good on Multiplayer. I'm thinking about getting this, but as I wasn't all that impressed with Halo Reach, mostly with the guns they felt too weak, I was hoping Halo 4 has been improved.

Never saw this thread. I have owned every single Halo game there has been. I really like this game compared to Reach. 343 did a much better job then Bungie's last/weak halo game. The graphics are great, and so is the new and returning story/characters. Also the multiplayer offers a lot to do and Spartan Ops which is like a continued version of Campaign and includes cutscenes for each episode. I got the limited edition and it came with some cool stuff: 3 Map pack preorders, journels/notes, Spartan blueprints, Forward unto dawn movie. All in a cool case!

I just really like the first start to a new trilogy, its starting out really great! :)

The promethean rocket launcher is very fun and awesome to use. It reminds me of Ratchet and Clank weapons.

I'm sorry but I've never played Halo before, I had a look at it and I would consider buying as it looks fun. I'm not usually into the shooter games but since I've put my liking to it I decided to post. Which one would you recommend if I consider buying it? I like the look of it and I think it has a lot of fun things to do, not played it though.

It depends if you want to follow the story from start to finish. Then buy Halo 1 or Halo Anniversary as it is a remake of Halo 1 and you can play it as the original or the remastered version.

Hmm...I think I will, yeah that would make sense. I think I'll buy the original Halo, I hope it's as long and as fun as I think it is.

Halo Anniversary is a good choice. It is a Xbox 360 game and remake of original so you get more out of it, plus achievements. Get Halo 2 if you can as well. Then Halo 3 after that. :)
