We are past the 3DS' first year of life! (It came out in Japan on Feb 26th, 2011) It had a slow start, but is now selling in massive amounts! What are your thoughts?
Ah, and once again Nintendo has been successful in producing the top of the line handheld for its current generation.
Kudos to Nintendo. Overcoming its errors so quickly and making the 3DS its fastest selling handheld after a very slow start!
I know some people have lost patience waiting for better games last year, looks like things are gonna get better from now on. 3DS is an awesome system imho.
No, has it been really that long already?? I am glad I have owned it for almost a year now. I have had a lot of fun with it.
Very unwise of you to wait that long. I'm glad I didn't. I got mine on May 2nd, and because of that, I got 21 games that were 100% free, however, my 3DS also costed $80 more. TOTALLY WORTH IT!
I don't like any of those free games that we got for buying the 3DS at launch. Why go backwards in playing games when you can play games in 3D, better graphics, and better handling. If I wanted to play older style games then I would have kept my GBA or GBC. I thought it was rather cheap of Nintendo. Put it this way, would you rather play the older version of Mario Kart or the latest version. I know which one I would pick. The same goes for the Zelda game.
Some people still enjoy the classics. Oh, and by the way, it's been almost a year after the Japanese release, not quite at a full year after it came out everywhere else.
You sure? I thought it came out in March. I'll have to check my receipt when I get home. (yes, I still have my receipt. )
