Today, there was an announcement for a new DC Superheroes game called Injustice Gods Among Us. It is an upcoming fighting game that is being made by Nether Realm, the creators of the Mortal Kombat series. So far, such characters as The Flash, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, and Solomon Grundy have been confirmed. (Taken from above article) "WB has stated that the game contains "epic battles on a massive scale," which is extremely different from the one-on-one fighting games that the developer is known for. Whatever the style of this game is, the President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment declares that Injustice: Gods Among Us will be "unlike any other in the fighting genre" and will involve rich storytelling and a large cast of DC favorites. The game is scheduled for release in 2013 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U, and poses the question: "What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat?'" This certainty seems interesting. I'll be looking forward to more details at E3. Bout time the Flash shines!
Quite. I'm hoping they'll change the name. You can't really tell what it's supposed to be if you only know the title.
If Batman is voiced by Kevin Conroy, and Solomn Grundy has his awesome design scheme from Arkham City then I may consider this game.
Yeah gotta pay more attention to the bright Red words. Solomn Grundy's design is different but not to different. I can't tell if Kevin is voiceing Batman or not, but Batman's design looks like the one from Dark Knight.

That looks so cool!!! I was watching E3 when this was announced and I was about to change the channel when I saw the people and stuff! Too bad I won't be able to get it.
This looks good but I don't know if i'll be pre-ordering it or waiting to buy it when it's in a sale or something. If they ever announce Batwoman for it (i'm not holding my breath though, but she was in DC Universe Online so who knows...) then it will be an instant pre-order. If not, i'll wait until it's cheaper (Batwoman is the only comic I read because....reasons... ...and I want them to use her in more stuff.)
