Kid Icarus Uprising Weapon Summary

We are all very excited for the new game Kid Icarus Uprising coming for the 3ds and I've made this thread just to help you learn more about the weapons in the game. I will update this thread when new info is given on these awesome weapon types.

This Video will show all the types of weapons this game has too offer but is very vague in the details of specific weapons.

Okay So now that I have that taken care off lets Begin....

There are Nine types of Weapons as shown in the video above and those are.

Blades, Bows, Cannons, Arms, Claws, Palms, Orbitars, Staffs, and Clubs

UPDATE: I Have Updated this Weapon Summary to feature the current information Nintendo has released on the items.








Blades:
Blades are balanced, user-friendly weapons that combine close-quarters combat ability with proficiency at range.

(Nintendo has also gave us info on a couple of awesome Blades and they still got more in store for this category of weapons)

This is a list of the Kinds of Blades this game will offer. Check the link I just gave for more info on these special blades. THIS WILL BE UPDATED when Nintendo shares more info!

First Blade:
Palutena gives Pit this First Blade, imbued with certain special powers, when she initially dispatches him to the battlefield. The First Blade is easy to use and suitable for all sorts of battle situations.

Burst Blade:

The Burst Blade fires several projectiles at once, so it can hit enemies over a wide area, this makes it ideal for angels with poor aim and is also useful for deflecting enemy fire. These benefits come at the expense of power, however, and this weapon also has the shortest range of all the Blades.

Royal Blade:
A Blade built from remnants of holy weapons that were once used by kings. An especially good weapon to use when fleeing, as its backward-dash charged shot is very powerful - on the other hand, its forward attacks leave a lot to be desired.

Viper Blade:

A Blade said to have been crafted from the scales of a thousand snakes. Though its projectiles are small, they are sharp, have a very long-range and are capable of poisoning enemies - reducing enemy resistance to Pit's attacks. Dash shots and charged shots poison enemies for even longer.

Viper Blade:

A Blade said to have been crafted from the scales of a thousand snakes. Though its projectiles are small, they are sharp, have a very long-range and are capable of poisoning enemies - reducing enemy resistance to Pit's attacks. Dash shots and charged shots poison enemies for even longer.

Samurai Blade:

Based on the traditional weaponry of an island nation with a unique culture. Its slashing attacks are the most powerful of any Blade; although it allows for rapid movement, its ranged attacks are weak and it takes a long time to charge shots.

Claws:

Claws allow for fast movement, but their range is short, meaning you have to get close to your enemy to do any real damage.

Tiger Claws:
Claws are melee-specialized weapons that fire talons. They improve speed more than any other weapon as they are lightweight, which makes up for their short attack range. The Tiger Claws allow Pit the impressive speed of a wild animal.

Wolf Claws:
The fiery claws of a wild wolf, capable of setting enemies ablaze and causing additional damage. Their range is short, but their dash shots are guided—a rare feature for Claws.

Brawler Claws:
Melee weapons, made specially for a champion prize-fighter. They lack power, but allow the greatest speed of all the weapons. Sadly, their range is very short—one arm's length only—but they allow you to rain down hundreds of punches in a vicious flurry.

There was also a Claw called Bean Claws in the Multiplayer (Dark vs Light) video.



Bows:
These weapons fire fast homing shots, making them well-suited for medium-to long-range attacks.

Fortune Bow:
Bows fire small shots, which slightly increase in damage over long ranges. The Fortune Bow is made from two types of metal that counter each others weaknesses, making for a well balanced weapon.

Meteor Bow:

Firing comets that draw their energy from the entirety of the night sky, this weapon has the longest range of any Bow. Charged shots increase the speed of the comets (making it easier to hit enemies), while dash shots release three guided comets that are almost impossible to evade.

Thise wolf claws are pretty sweet. burn properties and extra speed! My type of weapon

I wants Fairy Orbitars, The Insight Staff, and Beam Claws!

The Palms and the Orbitars look cool .

I like the Meteor Bow and some of the blades they look pretty cool can't wait till Nintendo releases more info.

Try looking for Staffs

Nintendo is releasing info little by little. They've released info for on Bows, Blades, and Claws so far.

So far there isn't that much info on Staffs. The only Staff I know about right now is the Insight Staff which was shown in the Dark vs Light Multiplayer Match.

I'm glad you'll find great use in this thread. That's why I made it in the first place.

I'm interested to see what kind of different Cannons will be in the game.

Well, we all know about that Twin Bellows cannon, but what I wanna know is how to fire that big laser thing he did at the start. Imma be like "IMMA FIRIN MA LAZAR!"

Well, there's the Twin Bellows cannnon. I've seen that one on the eshop.

Yes, but there is needs to be more info so that I can but it down.

There was also Fairy Orbitars and a Bowl Arm.

Just in case somebody has seen this.

I was so pumped for this game, but The Red Bomber just made me want even more!!
