The launch isn't good, on the grand scale of things... but that said, it's actually not as bad as it seems. There's something for everyone, which is tough to manage (except RPG fans...), it's just a case of whether these games are good or not. Rayman 3D will be good, because Rayman 2 is a fantastic game, but that doesn't change the fact that it's the same Rayman game we've played on EVERY system I'm getting Pilotwings for relaxing, and Lego Star Wars for a game that'll keep me busy and also for the action (Street Fighter would provide that, but I've burnt out my love for it thanks to the iPhone version). I sit patiently and wait for MOAAAAAR info on when Resi Mercs is being released. I've accepted that Icarus n' Ocarina won't be for a while yet.
Yeah i'm not gonna be able to get any RPG action on it for a long time am i? Also i think the wait for Ocarina and Kid Icarus is workable. Summer/early Fall isn't horrible. Besides 3DS isn't the only area for games i want to grow my collection on. I have barely any Wii games.... Okami is my first "to get" for that system.
But at least we will be able to play the DS Ni No Kuni on it I think that will be my most looked forward to game of this year. And holy sweet jesus, the PS3 version...... drool.
I think I might wait until at least one of the games I want comes out before getting it... otherwise it'll just sit in my room for a few months, not being used bye bye Nintendo 3DS (for a few months) Bye Byeeeeeeeee!!
