Why not just stream while near Wi-Fi, and even if it is download only why would the file sizes be so large the movie would be formatted to fit a 3ds screen wouldn’t it? PS: I take it we are all assuming you have to pay for movies but what about street pass and sport pass?

Yeah, we'll have to buy your movies, the 'pss' stuffs free. I've got no idea how big the files will be I'm sure we'll get all the extras. I really hope we do anyway.

I prefer this way because then if you are going somewhere you don't have to cart all your movies with you, you can just bring your 3ds, some games and away you go with movies in tow

i prefer downloadable movies actually this way you can save everything on your system and not have to carry around more cartridges *which is better since they are so easy to lose* Not to mention if you buy a 16G-32G SD card you shouldn't even have a problem storing anything- movies games and all-

I wish they would do cartridge and download. I kind of like having a little library! That is why I like having CDs! :p

Have Anyone heard/read about the format of videos, will it reproduce standard side by side 3d videos on mp4?

The movies have been confirmed to be downloadable, so they probably won't have cartridge movies, since that would be kind of an overload of movies!

I know, I just said "probably", since I think they'll just stick to one type of content.

I think they will make the movies in Cart as well as in download format, reason being is that not everyone has got very fast internet and when it comes to downloading a 2 hour movie, your talking about a very big file. Even if we was just talking about England and America, there are still places that dont have full speed internet, and some casses still on dial up, and thats with out taking the rest of the world into consideration.

What about streaming? And as for 2d movies you could just turn the 3d slider down! Wait movies are confirmed to be downloadable? I need a good SD card ------->>>>>>> to the sd card thread
