Try charging it for the full day, if not, send it to Nintendo.

The 3DS power button can be difficult to push sometimes. A little click won't be good enough. You have to hold it down for a few seconds.

Sorry, but looks like you might have to send it in for repairs
Or you could try some of the suggestions in this thread. Other than that, I cannot help you :(

You need the little numbers on the back of your 3ds. The site should give you step-by-step instructions on what you need to do.

It should. This is probably only a problem with the switch itself. They won't need to tamper with the memory.

Cool. Let us know if anything works for you. Otherwise your last resort would be to send it in to Nintendo. You could also try looking up solutions on the internet as well.

Could there be dust underneath the power button? My L button didnt work for ages and then I blew on it to see if there was dust underneath it and after that it worked perfectly. So it might be the same thing with my L button and your power button.

Try to blow on the power button a few times then hold down the power button for 2 seconds to see if it turns on.
