I don't see what the problem is though? Each class has specific traits and skills. There is a campaign as well, I wouldn't preorder it until there is an actual date given. There is still a lot they haven't shown though.
mmm what I meant was like they haven't released much about skills and classes. And if they have, then it hasn't really circulated very well because I haven't come across it. Granted, I haven't searched specifically for HoR info. I'll do more research into the game nearer the release date though.
Yeah, you wont find much if you don't search up a game. Like gunslinger is long distance and also has bombs. That is a example, but I would look into it more. You might be more excited.
This looks awesome. It's good to see the 3DS get a full-fledged online RPG. At first look this looks a lot like Skyrim. This will almost certainly push the limit on card capacity.
Its looking great! I hope the way you customize and hold items is categorized and easy to go through since there is so much. I hope you still get this game Doc, it says there will be blood.
I heard there will be four save files so you can try each one out! I wanna be Vindicator then a gun slinger!
I'll definitely give the game a try, I just hope that there's a ton of customization, and more importantly, variety. I'm also really hoping for a gimmik of some-sort that really sets this game apart from several other similar MMO RPGs...because at this point, I'm not seeing a significant gimmik.
I think the gimmick is that it's on a handheld. This could easily be the most expansive game on the 3DS, if done correctly. I'm probably more hyped for this than Kid Icarus.
There is suppose to be over 80,000 items and weapons. The guy in one of the walkthrough demos said that you will never be able to collect every single item. Which sounds pretty awesome to me, and that each area changes as you go into it. So it will always be different when playing with people online, and treasure chests will change location and enemies will change as well. The game is suppose to be big with a lot to do with online, so its multi purpose. Going on computer, on the game, and with friends in both as well.
That may be a huge number of armor/weapons/etc., even for an RPG, but like I said, the most important thing to me is the variety of armor/weapons/etc....variety is one thing that most RPGs suffer from, with some modern RPG's using the very same 3D model as another already existing weapon, only applying a different texture to it just to then try and convince you that the "new" weapon your looking at is indeed new/better/u want dis/etc. If I see a small amount of texture/3D model recycling, then that's fine, but I don't want to see any more than a very small amount...we should be past that at this point. N-space in particular has been known to do this texture/3D model recycling waaay too much in their (DS) Call of Duty games. Of course, they have more room to work on Heroes of Ruin, and they also don't/didn't have any real strict time-frame that they are/were expected to work on the game within (as far as I know)...so we should get a much better quality product this time...I hope... Heroes of Ruin is far from the first handheld MMORPG, which is why the fact that it's portable isn't all that significant, even though I absolutely prefer it that way. Order and Chaos Online definitely has some competition now.
I see what you mean now, I hope this isn't the case. They have delayed it to further work on it so hopefully we get more out of that.
Oh great then! I wasn't sure or not, it seems like it is not getting a lot of attention. Especially on here, I am quite surprised.
Whatever, I'm still planning on getting it. Don't you guys read the OP? I did a pretty good job of explaining things. Can't wait for it!
