Okay, so there's going to be a new home console, and instead of wasting my time by telling you what this piece of crap is, I'll just link the wiki page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouya So, what are your thoughts on this idiotic idea?
Although I don't think that the Ouya is all that great of an idea, you really shouldn't go out there and call it a peice of crap. I don't think it's going to be that much of a big deal and all. If people wanna waste their money on it, go ahead and let them. I can see this being just a new fad until more news comes out about next-gen consoles.
smart phone graphics arent bad.. and to have this instead of a 800$ smartphone is more acceptable. and believe it or not! smart phone games are good! even better than 3ds games. there are mmos and full games on androids. is like your opinion you find it as a stupid idea man. this is something new.. and developers are backing it up (from what ive read) lastly im curious to see what games will be for ouya because i play gamer.. and i like playing games.
I heard about this a while back, it sound pretty cool to me. I already have an Android device so I'll probably skip on buying it (unless it gets some absolutley amazing indie games)
We have a thread on this: http://www.3dsbuzz.com/3ds-forum/index.php?threads/9767/ I think people are excited for it now, but once they actually get it I think they'll be disappointed. If people really want to make indie games and hacks, then using a PC is the way to go.
Oops I didn't realise this was a duplicate thread. Sorry. And yes, I understand that what I'm saying about Ouya is all opinion. I just really hate the idea.
I want to know why you think it is an "idiotic piece of crap." It's really an interesting idea, IMO. I don't really want to pick it up, but it's interesting nonetheless. It's not really worth the hate you've given it though, I'd say.
I dunno man. Robots are pretty cool, even if they're a little downgraded. (Joke) Anyway, it's still got 1080p, and ice cream sandwich is pretty decent. The main hook of the system is the open-source software, free-to-play games, and encouraged modding.
Yeah, think of it like a little dev kit for Android. It's good because it encourages people to develop for android.
Looks great to me! The fact anyone can develop for it is the point of the thing, as far as I can see.
While I don't have an immediate attraction to buy it, or even pledge support, I find it an interesting idea nonetheless. For $99, it might be worth picking up just to see if it's the future of gaming. And the Android operating system is a plus.
