    I think it's a good idea to bring it back as most users prefer the chatbox and if there is no one some users may not be very active.

    I want the Shoutbox back too.
    I like the fact that it can be used to start conversations that don't really "deserve" a thread.
    (No need to refresh your page either!)
    And is there a more convenient way to start an online match for one of your games?
