Pikmin 3 - Gameplay footage

Wii U Gamer was on scene at a Nintendo Wii U event in London. Check out this footage of Pikmin 3

This game will be the only one that I will get at first for the Wii U. Looks good.

Day 1. The game looks awesome!

Really not looking forward to using the Wiimote in order to control Olimar, but hopefully Nintendo gives us the option to use that fancy-new tablet controller.

I never played Pikmin so I might try this one out. It look's like a pretty good game.

I hope we won't need to use that controller in any games made for the Wii U. Surely it will be the tablet controller to be used all the while, with an option to use the Wiimote if we prefer.

Yeah, Wiimotes... They just don't suit Pikmin. I definitely would love the option for the Tablet.

Oh, that's right, they kicked him out of this game entirely from what I understand...

Well, Miyimoto said we'll "figure out why. [he's not playable]" Once we play the game.... Probably just a story feature. Olimar is lost or something. Go rescue him, that sort of thing.

The graphics look wonderful and I've never played Pikmin before so it looks like it's worth a go to get once I manage to buy the Wii U. It's one of the more fresh and interesting games that I've seen at E3 and I'm glad that this will be launching with the Wii U. I wonder if it will be bundled together.

I'll definetly be buying this. It looks awesome!
