The 3DS one's really disappointing... Lizuka said: We don't want it to feel like a watered down port of the console versions so we made it 2D to focus on Sonic's handheld history.' Well it sure sounds like a ultra-watered down version.
Only bad thing is if what was found in the hack is true Werehog Sonic propbably will return, but then again it wouldn't make sense with classic sonic.
Picture of the opening cutscene. Oddly Silver and Shadow are not in it. This my have to do with the fact that they are appearing as bosses.
All I know is the 360 and PS3 will have them as boss fights according to the hack of the demo for Green Hill Zone. Sega hasn't confirmed this yet, but I'm pretty sure they will.
Do you guys think this game will be disappointing? I used to buy Sonic games several years back, I'm really considering this one, should I buy it?
Okay, I'll buy it then. I'm a big time fan of the 2D adventures. I remember playing Sonic advanced, 2, and 3, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Battle, and many others! I miss those days. That's why I can't wait for this game! Edit: Here's a trailer of this awesome game.
I quite liked Sonic heroes, i consider it the last really good home console game (until colours came along) But loads of fans hate Sonic heroes. I never did understand why
I don't know either. It was the last good game for a long time. I think that's why Sega counts it toward the dreamcast era even though it wasn't released on it.
At least it got mainly good reviews. Some of Gamespot's Sonic reviews are dumb, one writer said that after the first game Sonic lost his glory. He said something like: 'The sequel was practically the same. The third introduced nothing new, except the odd element shield. Level design remained unchanged, and one can't help but wonder why Sega even bothered with the fourth one, Sonic and Knuckles'. What's he on about? XD
