I'm not really surprised to see the lack of hype revolving around Tank! Tank! Tank! here at the Forums. But there should be more, because it is a great game and it is now giving me a reason to actually consider getting the Wii U. You see, this game was made by Namco and was available in some arcades, like the one in Luna Park, Melbourne, Australia where I played it. It's great fun blasting your friends out of their little green contraptions of destruction and watching their faces turn from anger to shock when they realize it was me who killed them. It's been a year and a half since I played it and because of this I forgot all about it, but when I watched the E3 conference (not) live on my computer I suddenly remembered about this great game. I'm just wondering if anyone else here has played it before and feels the same as I do, or if any of you think it looks like garbage and it should be killed, then run over by a garbage truck and having a meteorite landing on it. Because it really is a fun game, in the arcade around a year and a half ago at least...
It! Will! Suck! Actually, it does look pretty fun. Hopefully it'll be one of those big successes that no one saw coming. Except, of course, you, Klobb.
Just watched the trailer myself and I was astounded! Definitely something I'll pick up day one! I love me some arcadey style games, especially when Godzilla-esque monsters and tanks with nukes are involved. Count me in!
Looks a bit too cartoon-ish. Not liking the pics of people above each tank. Just change the tank color scheme. They did it with the other modes. You're bound to forget who's who.
Yeah, also here's the trailer if anyone hasn't seen it yet: Joystiq called this game's E3's least effective WiiU showcase.
I know, but it's such a shame when they release last gen titles as selling points for next gen consoles, as fun as they may be
True, wait so your saying you wouldn't want it on the WiiU I would prefer both platforms. I know its frustrating but that's a good thing as well because it will drop in price early and not take ages like Call of Duty.
Well it's good having Wii U titles to draw people in, but if it's not looking anymore impressive than a Wii title, just releasing it on Wii would mean you could play it on both. I know that's not good from a marketing point of view, but it just annoys me
