    Spider Man 1: Follows the whole Spider Man story line better. Action scenes absolutely glorious.

    The Amazing Spider Man: Better actors with a more interesting and enlightening back story.

    I feel like it should have been called "Peter Parker" not Spider man. The story mostly followed Peter's problems and didnt really focus on Spidey. Even when he was fighting the Lizard there seemed to still be a psycological block between Peter and Dr. Connors.
