I think that in this game we should have a return of the NES, like in the original. Or, because this is a portable version, a GameBoy. Just imagine being able to play Super Mario Land & The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening & Pokemon Red and Blue Versions...
Sadly it's obvious it won't happen, because of the VC. I could see a hobo that was a snake that wears camo and a bandanna, as reference to Snake.
Anyway! I would like to see...gosh...I just want the dang game already. x_x Yottabyte said: I'd like for them to expand the character types too. There are cranky, jock, or lazy males and normal, peppy, or snooty females, but shouldn't there be more than just these 3 types of personalities for each gender? It can be irritating to reread the same topic from two similar villagers. I hope that happens less. With the clothing design, I hope they allow customization of pallets, it can be a bit stifling to get stuck with the colors they give you. My wish is that this Animal Crossing becomes the most popular out of all the AC games. I want it to incorporate everything from the other games, all the best stuff. I know that's not Nintendo's style, they like to do something completely new and unexpected, but sometimes we miss the style of play from other versions of games. The "features" that we love in one game may not be replaced with lovable "features" in another game. I hope this game feels more "organic" if that makes any sense. I don't have a Wii, but City Folk seems cool. Wild World was a bit lacking in things to do and it got to feel a bit like a chore. With all that the 3DS is capable of, I'm really excited to see a game like AC mature into its full potential. As a plant-obsessed person, I'm really excited to do some virtual gardening. But whatever, I pre-ordered AC3D and I can't wait for it because no matter what it's going to be great! XD
That would be a good idea and it should happen. Maybe there could be real time Animal Crossing as in instead of a second representing a minute a second could be a second in the game, I'd like it if there was a car you can drive in to get around the island because we could be able to visit events but if we have the bus that's good too.
Lol, I think I've played too much Harvest Moon, well I'm glad it is. I want the Tom Nook's shop to expand even further.
I want to travel do different towns. Not just online, but like different time periods or something! I don't like being stuck in one town and a city-like area that offers you a shoe-shine for 500 bells!
::Laughs:: That's awesome, Zok! XD That definitely got a laugh out of me. What's incredible is that Animal Crossing games have never *needed* downloadable content or SpotPass daily content, yet the games are always full of stuff— letters, messages in bottles, items in trees, and villagers moving in and away every day. But the 3DS is synonymous with downloadable content, online play, and StreetPass moments. I do wonder how these elements will fit into a game that was always designed to feel fresh from the beginning. If we StreetPass our houses so Tom Nook can display them, does that mean we can buy them from Tom Nook? Can we go inside of them, perhaps able to buy items like an estate sale? Just how different will the houses look from the outside? They mentioned more customization than just changing the roof color. GalaxyGirl: From what I gather, this AC game is going to have *much* more customization than ever before. I don't know that you will get to create other time periods or switch up the color of the grass itself, but AC towns are always a blank slate that you can modify as much as you like (as much as they let you, I suppose). Let's hope they make creating change relatively inexpensive in both time and bells. ^^;
Oh, that will be possible. ^_^ In the video they show the boy sitting on a bench and the girl is playing in front or something like that. Yeah, traveling to friend's towns (or stranger's towns) is an Animal Crossing staple! They can't take that away! I mean, it would be really sad if they did. But if you mean that everyone's town is the "same town" (essentially that's true) then...yeah...I don't know. It would be cool if you could at least select a climate from the start so if you wanted a town in a desert-like setting you could have that. With that option would come different plants and maybe a different look to the buildings in town (an Old Western look!). Y'know, with a few options like that: futuristic, modern, and jungle themes would be sweet. It would make visiting a friend's town really special! Why, just in the USA the difference between Northeast buildings (like Cape Cod, quaint beach-houses) and Northwest buildings (like NOA headquarters, modern/natural mix) is beautifully distinct. Sim City developed the option to choose a building style in a few of their games and as you changed your preferred style of what the buildings should look like, it meant all the new buildings had that style. It is pretty awesome. I don't think they'll have that option in this game, but hopefully someday! XD Hey, out of curiosity, if you went to friend's town in the older games, and you saw K.K. Slider...could you get a song from him PLUS one in your own town?
