Hey folks, Sorry if this already exists. What games would you like to see on the 3DS Virtual Console. The only games I can think of now is Super Mario Bros. Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages/Seasons from Gameboy Colour
I agree with your choices. Also I'd like to see SNES games released, it'd be plausible as Nintendo demoed SNES games on 3DS back at E3 2010. Two SNES games I'd like to see are ALttP and Secret of Mana. As for NES and GB/C games, I'd like Super Mario Bros. 3. Finally, it'd be great if Nintendo released GBA games to the public. I missed out on most great GBA games, despite owning the system, and I'd love to be able to experience games like Minish Cap and Golden Sun, not to mention Fire Emblem: TSS. If we were really lucky, an English version of Mother 3 would be amazing but I think I'd be asking for too much
Super Mario World and SMB3 and possibly Super Smash Bros. () to tie in with the 4th game in the series once it comes out.
What kind of question ends with an exclamation point? Anyway, I'd like to see classic Pokemon games on the Eshop. Hey, everyone's got a dream.
Castlevania 3, Contra (do us all 'a-solid and include multiplayer functionality), Super Mario 3, Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2, Clash at Demonhead, Megaman 4 and 6, Megaman 9 and 10, Solomon's Key, 3D Hogan's Alley, and River City Ransom. *long overdue sigh* ......... ...An english version of Mother 3 already exists. It's even been mentioned on a recent 3DSbuzz article that an english fan-translation for Mother 3 is sitting there on the interwebz, just waiting for those of you who haven't yet heard of it yet to patch your Japanese Mother 3 rom and start 'a-playin'-the-game. It takes a lot of effort/money on your part to play Mother 3 in english without stealing...of course if you are desperate enough, you might want to look into how to dump your own GBA rom. You probably won't regret all that effort...!
The problem is it's really inconvenient to dump our own GBA roms, not to mention expensive. I don't want to illegally download either. An official translation released by Nintendo would be awesome, and it'd be legal. Also if we could get Mother 1 on the eShop it'd be great, I'm still unsure about the legality of Earthbound Zero (I think it's legal to download, but I'm not certain). As for Earthbound (Mother 2), I think I'm giving up all hope of playing it, unless the copyright issues are resolved which I doubt they will be. I would play it on the SNES, but it wasn't released in PAL regions and it'd be a pain to import an NTSC SNES and a copy of Earthbound (Which is pretty expensive). So us English-speaking Mother fans (Especially in PAL regions) were really hard done by.
I think GBA games should be realeased on virtual console. I mean, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga? That is one of my favorite games of all time! I recommend going to the store and buying a GBA and that game automatically. Anyway, Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3 would be cool to see.
That's probably one of the reasons I don't buy much VC. Because it's not GBA, I mean GBA had loads of great games.
I do own a GBA, but don't have Superstar Saga. I do like Bowser's Inside Story though. I do wish Nintendo would consider releasing DS games on the eShop. I understand the 3DS is backwards compatible, but a lot of DS games are out of print and hard to find.
Super Mario Bros. 3 would be awsome. They should also have GBA on the Virtual Console because it has alot of good games. Mario and Luigi being one of the best ones. They could have the rest of the advance series on it.
I'm not finding the best luck with the GBC games, they usually go quite high (usually around £25 with me) I just got The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons with the box and manual for £24
Some of these may be on there but I've missed them(I'm in US) Gameboy/Gameboy Color Kid Icarus of Myths and Monsters Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal Pokemon Puzzle Challenge TMNT Fall of the Footclan(Really good game, if you have never played or heard of it before.) Zelda Oracle Games Metal Gear Solid Ghost Babel Others Metal Gear Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake(Have both of them on HD collection, but if it was on a handheld I'd probably finish it. I find if an older game is ported to handheld I'll usually more likely finish them.) 3D Classics Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario World Sonic CD Super Mario 64
Same here Kid Icarus: OMM is already on the EU eShop, so it probably won't be too long before an NA release.
UK prices are usually higher than NA prices, mainly because there are less cartridges around. I got Pokemon Blue and Gold, for about £8 apiece. That wasn't a bad deal IMO, just wish I didn't have to replace the battery in Gold Some games are quite expensive (Zelda titles), while the Mario Land games are really cheap. I think that has a lot to do with the VC re-release. But it is hard to find Game Boy games with the box and manual. Many people (Me included) threw them away. The Oracle games are pretty expensive, even more expensive than ALttP GBA (which I thought was expensive). I'd like to see some Genesis stuff on the VC. It'd be so awesome to have Sonic 1,2 and 3 on the same system as SMB, SMB and Super Mario World!
Think Of Bowser's Inside Story, then think of it about a game 15 times better then that. It's even better then the game you thought of...well, in my opinion.
