I just realized. In one timeline, link always finds himself keeping the triforce away from Ganon. In another he finds himself turning into things a lot(the timeline with twilight princess, majoras mask, and four swords) and in the last he finds himself using strange modes of transportation. I just noticed that and had to tell people about it. That could help tell us about future zelda games. Hurray! I found a pattern!
Maybe a coincidence? I am not sure but good find. They pretty much have endless possibilities for future games and storylines.
How are boats and trains strange modes of transportation? I think a bird is more strange then a BOAT and a TRAIN! You can say the one on the right is filling with continuing sequels.
It's unusual for a fantasy game such as zelda. I mean look at what each game is about. You'll see the same thing.
Doubt it. Shigeru Myamoto says he knew what the timeline was for years and as seen by the pattern I just told you about, it makes sense too. So if this was random, then it's brilliantly random.
This timeline does make perfect sense, I've been waiting for a timeline for a while now. I didn't expect it to branch out three ways the way it did but, oh well, just more to speculate now.
Yeah, were in the timeline will the next game be. In a way splitting it this way is smart. Then if you get bored with a timeline there is always another to make a game to. I think there should be another game for the timeline in the middle. This is good proof we can have another Majoras Mask.
Now the 'Angry Video Game Nerd' doesn't have any real reason to be chronically confused. ...hopefully somebody understood that refrence.
What bothered me is that at the very bottom of the timeline, it says end...does that mean once the timeline is full Zelda is over? if that's the case then it looks like there are only four more spots open...I hope I'm wrong though.
I think it just means it is the latest in the timeline. They could always add on the the end of each timeline.
Oh okay yeah I see what you are saying now. But what about when you have to go back in time to get the lens of truth? (And personally I see it where link, after clearing the child part of the spirit temple, returns to the SAME adult time he was in, so it's as if he didn't go back in time, but now he's got the gloves and what not if that makes sense.)
You got me there. I forgot you had to go back to get the Lense of Truth. There should be something in the game that may have caused this.

To me, the possibilities are endless. If you base the timeline of any point where Link could fail (e.g. boss battles), then the story can have infinite options. Why are they saying Link could only 'fail' in Ocarina of Time?
This is confusing. o.o How did he get younger? Isn't he older in Skyward Sword than he is in Ocarina of Time?
