BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2: Trailer and release date
Super Street Fighter IV should be looking nervous.
What is BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2? Well soon, it’ll be a one-on-one beat ‘em up on the 3DS that isn’t Street Fighter IV; that should be enough to get many of you interested. The game will be released for both 3DS and PSP in Europe on November 4th, and the above trailer should make you wet. I mean, should whet your appetite.
The previous big-screen BlazBlues, Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift, are characterised by beautiful anime-style design and graphics and over-the-top combat. Want to freeze your opponent before launching them into the air for a twenty hit combo, or shoot them in the face before kicking them in the gut? No problem! The portable versions will carry all the DLC characters from the original Continuum Shift, as well as new story modes and a new ‘Abyss’ mode that “lets you level up your favourite fighter”. A counter in the corner of the website, on just over ten days at time of writing, teases the announcement of some more BlazBlue related news. This, my friends, is a game to watch.

First!!! oh, and this game looks really good but I already have SSF4
don’t forget dead or alive it beats all fighters on the 3ds
@xemnas
Ah yes, there is Dead or Alive; but this promises to be very different to both games.
Also (a bit) less boobcentric than DoA.
I would like to get this, but it doesn’t have online play, so I won’t. I don’t know many people with a 3DS, so my local multiplayer opportunities are limited, and I can only grind training mode for so long before getting bored, if I don’t have anyone to play against. Story in fighting games usually doesn’t interest me much.
BBCSII’s already out in America, I bought on launch day. It’s a little watered down but it’s still a great fighter.
And yes DOA:D Is the best fighter on 3ds… Atleast it will be untill Tekken 3D Prime Edition gets released.
This game is limited release in the UK and not available in a lot of shops. Most big retailers are not stocking it and Gamestation are selling it via online-transaction only…. Im not too impressed with what ive seen of Blazblue, so ill just wait for somebody to dump the ROM and pirate it.
From what I’ve heard, Blazblue Continuum Shift 2 is more like an expanded version of the game rather than a sequel… Seems a bit odd to me if this is the case, expanded re-releases can be annoying but this is the first time the game will be on the 3DS so why not milk the fact that it’s an expanded version of the console release?
I can’t wait for you to brick your 3ds @R4Master
ahhhhhhhh!!! blazblue on 3DS !!! Life is good. (btw this is like 3 million times better than highly overrated SSFIV)
@Robert You have much to learn about emulation young Jedi. XD
i thought this game was already out like 2 monsths ago
Win. I definately prefer this over SSF4
ssf4 can not worry about this game 1-no online
http://3ds.nintendolife.com/reviews/2011/06/blazblue_continuum_shift_2_3ds
2-more modes to cover this ”lazy act”and dont use excuse 3ds hes abed online like fifa, pes, and all other games. ssf4 and resident evil are work fine but ssf4 hes less modes then BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 (sorry ssf4 whare survivor mode?ok lets not start…)so ihope thet one day agood dlc(”Solatorobo”yes they can)give to ssf4 all modes(arcade dlc)and to BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 online
I’ve heard the 3DS version suffers from terrible lag.
@Joshawott … I havent laughed so hard since Microsoft Security Essentials classed Google Chrome as a “malicious virus” and blew everybodys C: drive to hell! XD
TEKKEN 3D PWNS ALL FIGHTING GAMES!
@Husnain … Try walking into Capcom’s office and saying that.
