Best Price Nintendo 3DS? I’ve Found All the Cheap 3DS Offers!
In fact I’ve found all the Nintendo 3DS console prices in the UK? Check my handy price comparison to ensure that you find the best price for your new console.
If you’re looking to get a Nintendo 3DS (and quite frankly, who wouldn’t be – they’re awesome!), then you’ve come to the right place. What’s more, with the console having had a 40% price drop recently, this is definitely the best to time buy a 3DS.
We’ve done the hard work for you and have pulled together all the best prices for Nintendo 3DS from around the ‘net, so all that’s left for you to do is pick whether you want a Cosmos Black 3DS, Metallic Red or an Aqua Blue one, and wait for your 3D wonder machine to arrive!

Note for readers in the USA: This page was set up to compare UK prices but as we love you so much, I thought I’d put together a price comparison for US readers too. Unfortunately your stores don’t like to get into dirty price wars. They stick to the MSRP, which means all the prices below are the same. There are only two differences. I would really appreciate it if you click to buy from Amazon, that will:
- Save you time, since the link takes you to the 3DS page, unlike the other stores.
- Help support us and make 3DS Buzz better (at no cost to you)
Cheers… and God Bless America.
The comparison table below updates automatically every day, so will always be showing up-to-date prices. However, be aware that these prices can vary from day to day, so if you see a good deal, it’s worth snapping it up quickly.
Amazon’s tendency to match the lowest prices on the web usually puts them top of the pile as console retailers – and with reasonable bundle deals and free shipping, it could be the perfect place to pick up a couple of games and accessories to go with your shiny new console, whilst shaving a few pounds off in the process. However, the price match does mean that their prices often jump around -both down and up – from day to day, so if you see a good price one day, it’s likely to be worth getting your order in quickly before the price changes.
Zavvi is also often a good place to find deals on consoles – they sometimes run a discount “Nintendo Day” promotion with offers on Nintendo products available for your buying pleasure. On top of that, they sometimes make selective bundles (including the console and one or more games) available at cheaper prices than you’d be paying separately, so that’s worth looking out for.
PC World and Currys usually charge a little more, but their Collect@Store service might be handy if you don’t want to wait on your postie for a few of days. It allows you to conveniently pay online and pick up your 3DS at your local store from an hour later. They also offer a price match service against some online retailers, including Argos. This price match, could knock around £10-15 off the cost of the sale, so it could well be worth checking while you’re deciding between a Black or Blue 3DS.
So I’ve Ordered my Console – What am I Going to Play on it?!
As the advert says, “This isn’t DS, this is Nintendo 3DS”. It isn’t simply a 3D DS. It is capable of so much more including more advanced games. If you want to find out a bit more about the games on offer for the 3DS and whether they’re worth picking up, you might want to head to our easy to navigate games hub for news, details and screenshots for every release on the console.
You can also join our friendly forums (it takes less than 2 minutes to create a free account) where there’s a whole community of 3DS owners there to give you advice on which titles to think about picking up, as well as which to avoid at all costs.
We hope that this handy guide will be useful in helping you to get the best deal around, and that it won’t be long before you can begin to sample the 3DS’ next generation auto-stereoscopic delights!
