Cooking Mama 4 Release Date Set For UK
Previously hinted at an October release, Mama’s heading your way (or to Blighty at least) this November.
Fans of jolly bobble-headed chefs with secret penchants for flame-eyed hyper-rage will no doubt be hankering for a little succulence to pop into their 3DS. Which sort of makes the 3DS sound like some form of miniature toaster, which it isn’t, so don’t put food into it please.
Our previous Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic coverage has no doubt already filled you in on the basics. Once again, Mama’s got some recipes and you’d better bring your best chef/minigame completion skills to the table in order to impress. There’ll be over 200 touch-screen minigames coupled to 60 recipes, the aim being to complete as delicious a dish as possible.

It seems we have Mama's approval. Cherish it, for it is both rare and fleeting. One badly broken egg and we'll all be victims to the FLAMEY EYES OF DEATH.
Set your egg timers to November 11th, then, the recently confirmed released date for the game, as stated by 505 Games. Alternatively, mark it on your calendars, though if you do happen to have an egg timer that measures in months, you must have one seriously epic kitchen.
In a nice touch, the 3DS’s other features are, ostensibly, set to see usage in the game. Joining the good ol’ touch screen controls are gyroscopic ways to play, used for such things as balancing plates, cracking eggs (apparently), grating cheese or spreading butter over a pan. According to GamerGrrlz, the 3D aspect won’t be too overpowering, mostly limited to ‘slapstick effects’ used for recipe failures. Mama’s flame-glare in stereoscopic in-your-face-o-vision? Colour us… terrified, actually.
Aforementioned GamerGrrlz.net also spills the beans (uh oh, spilled food, watch for the Mama Death Glare⢠everyone!), this time on a few new recipes. Gourmet popsicles! Designer cupcakes! Takoyaki! New England clam chowder! Corn dogs! And cherry pie. Hoo boy… anyone else getting peckish?
There’s also set to be a Challenge Mode, a multiplayer versus affair for up to four people. There is at present, however, no confirmation if this includes online play. Also, there have been no mentions of StreetPass or SpotPass. New downloadable SpotPass recipes, though, would be deee-lish.

We need a spin off of this but Epic Meal Time Version
