Devil Survivor Overclocked European Patch On The Way!
Patient European gamers need be patient only a little longer.
Europe received Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked quite astonishingly late compared to the rest of the planet. When it finally arrived there was much rejoicing, until such time as it emerged that the European game had several nasty bugs in it that broke several core features of gameplay.
Not ideal. However, all is not lost; the Ghostlight Blog has made plain that the developers have diligently produced a patch for the European version of the game, with it currently being tested in-house before being sent to Nintendo for content submission. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel at last!
Atlus has apparently removed the afflictions that have sullied the enjoyment of the auction house in the game, as well as fixing the devil summoning system. Which is good, because that’s pretty much the game right there. Additionally, updates to the character naming system have been promised.
The patch should be live on the eShop in ‘the next few weeks’, though there’s nothing more specific to be said beyond that at this time. Huge thanks have been given to the fans of Overclocked throughout Europe, and hopefully soon we can put these bugs behind us.
