Fire Emblem: Awakening Class Overview Trailer Introduces Your Troops

Nintendo’s latest overview trailer shines a light on the upcoming strategy-RPG’s class system.

Commander! In your imminent role as master tactician for none other than Prince Chrom himself, it’s of the utmost importance you’re savvy to the finer nuances of life on the battlefield.

You may waft your hands dismissively at us and say that you know about wizards and knights and things, but hubris will not behoove you for the conflicts to come Commander! To be forewarned is to be fore-armed. And just think, if you had four arms you could play two 3DS systems at once.

That’s quite an overview! We hope you’re taking note of all this for your future strategies!

It goes without saying that your customised avatar character will more than likely fit the role of tactician. You know, what with you being a tactician and all. Don’t you get a lovely coat? Do Nintendo give you royalties for appearing in this video, Commander?

Having such a point of reference whilst engaging with your Fire Emblem: Awakening enemies is truly useful, as it immediately spells out the strengths and weaknesses of each class.

The advanced classes are those which will be gained as units level up and grab their promotions, as is par for the course for Fire Emblem. This is an extra incentive to keep your soldiers safe, because if one should perish prematurely not only do you lose them for the rest of the game, but it also means you’ll never see the awesomeness they were destined to become. The pressure’s on, Commander!

Much like the GameCube and Wii instalments, Awakening also features characters who belong to shapeshifting species. We’re especially eager to see our enemies fleeing from the prospect of dying by being kicked in the face by a giant rabbit.

It’s great to see that Nintendo has such high hype to dish out for Fire Emblem: Awakening. By the looks of things from a snippet of information from today’s Wii U-centric Nintendo Direct, there are even greater announcements to come for the series, too!

Gah! I just want this game! Yh, bunny lady is awesome. Velvet and her son (Chambary) kick serious ass!
There is also Nono and Nn, the manketes (Spelling…). Those 4 can kick bad ass!
Plus, you can buy dragon stones as well as Teagal stones. That means that their usage isn’t limited.
