Overview
Bomberman 3DS was an upcoming game for the Nintendo 3DS. Developed by Hudson Soft, the game would have made a return to the adventure format of Bomberman games, like Bomberman 64 & Hero, and would have also featured the series' trademark multiplayer modes.
Changes from series
The multiplayer modes featured a "life system," which will impose a handicap on experienced players when playing against players new to the series. Bomberman will also return with Adventure Mode however, this time you can bring along a friend in Co-Op mode.
Cancellation
Hudson announced that Bomberman 3DS has been canceled due to their buyout from Konami. However, despite being cancelled by Hudson, Konami has confirmed that not all Hudson titles have been cancelled. It is unknown which games will make it to store shelves due to lack of information from Konami.
