Overview
FIFA 12 is the first FIFA game on the 3DS platform developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts. The game contains over 500 officially licensed clubs, from leagues including:
- The English Premier League
- Italian Serie A
- Spanish La Liga
- North American Major League Soccer
- Australian Hyundai A-League
There will be other leagues, which allow the use of clubs, player names and likenesses. FIFA 12 on 3DS will be the first FIFA game on the Nintendo 3DS and the first game FIFA game to feature 3D.
Modes
FIFA 12 will contain 8 modes including:
- Street Football - 5-a-side matches taking place on streets from countries around the world including Brazil and France.
- Career Mode - Play as a manager and make strategic decisions. Managers are able to set targets for the team. If they succeed the team will receive performance enhancements.
- Tournament Mode - This mode includes over 50 real-world leagues and cup competitions.
- Training Mode - A mode to practice standard techniques along with new touch screen controls.
- Be A Pro - This mode allows you to create a player which will begin a career playing street matches. As they gain a reputation, they will be signed to a club and work their way up to eventually play for their national side.
A Head-to-head online mode was also announced by EA, however it has been reported that the game producer, Matt Prior, has said that the game will only feature local head-to-head multiplayer. It has also been reported that FIFA 12 will not use Streetpass or Spotpass.
Other Features
The touch screen can be used to aim when passing or shooting. An "innovative curved pitch" and low camera views will be used to emphasize 3D effects. FIFA 12 will also feature authentic stadiums from around the world, such as Stamford Bridge. FIFA 12 will utilise Spotpass, which will download updated team kits and rosters.
Fifa 12 was released in America on the 27th September 2011 and on the 30th September in Europe.

Great!now I need a NBA and a baseball game.
Pro Evolution or PES as its known .. Is the only footy game worth playing in my experience . i used to play fifa back in the day on ps1 and was always left with a bad taste in the mouth , it just didn’t feel right , back then EA staff admitted playing Pro Evo to try and find the magic ingredient they add to make it such an awsome game i bet they are still looking >.<
And you just know that the PES team probably looked at fifa for about 10 seconds before being violently sick at the horrendous game mechanics and promptly went back to playing a proper game of footy PES .
Then one day we got a game of Pro Evo and we played it and we played it and we played it
Finally the football game we dreamed of was here before us and PES Is It's name ..
Pro Evo the only footy game worth playing
Seriously dont encourage EA any further they should have stopped making this kak years ago and given the licences over to the PES team ..

@footy I’ve been a fan of PES ever since it was called Winning Eleven, yet I find that statement so wrong… I love Winning Eleven, but FIFA on the PS1 rocked….. I don’t know what you’re talking about. If Konami doesn’t get their game together by next year (WITH ONLINE MULTIPLAYER… *pants*) I’ll have to get FIFA 12. ‘Sniff…..
OK I’m over it. ^_^
Oh, and the latest FIFA games are absolutely amazing… feels so real, I seriously thought it was a recording when I saw it…. when I got closer I realized it was a game.
