LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7

Overview

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is an upcoming game for the Nintendo 3DS which will be a sequel to the game, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It will be the third LEGO game to be released on the 3DS, after LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean.

Gameplay

The gameplay of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 will be similar to previous LEGO games, with an emphasis on puzzle solving and exploration. The game will feature several locations that appeared in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, including Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. It will also feature new locations such as Grimmauld Place, the Ministry of Magic, and Godric’s Hollow. It is also said that this time, unlike in Years 1-4, if the player decides to attack a Hogwarts teacher, they will be turned into an animal for a brief spell, as a punishment.

Plot

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 will follow the story of the last four Harry Potter films: The Order of the Phoenix, the Half Blood Prince and the Deathly Hallows parts one and two.

Development

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is being developed by TT Games, a developer owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment Group. TT Games have developed other games in the LEGO series, including LEGO®Star Wars™, LEGO®Batman™: The Videogame, LEGO®Indiana Jones™: The Original Adventures, LEGO®Harry Potter™: Years 1-4 and BIONICLE® Heroes.
