Overview
Luigi's Mansion 2 is an upcoming game for the Nintendo 3DS which will be a sequel to the Gamecube game, Luigi's Mansion. The game will be the first Luigi title to be released on the 3DS. The aim of the game is to remove ghosts from mansions, using a device called the Poltergust, while collecting coins. Luigi's Mansion 2 is set to be released in Q1 2012 in North America and Q2 2012 in Europe.
Gameplay
Luigi's Mansion 2 will involve Luigi exploring different mansions trying to capture ghosts with his Poltergust. Unlike in the original, shining a light on ghosts is no longer enough to immobilise them. To stun ghosts, the player will have to activate a strobe function and release it. The player will then have to suck the ghosts up with the Poltergust. As well as being used to suck up ghosts, the Poltegust can be used to remove wallpaper, revealing previously hidden areas and also to suck up coins.
In Luigi's Mansion 2, different mansions will be haunted by different types of ghosts. The player will be able to find hidden secrets to unlock new areas and treasure chests. The new gameplay elements are said to add variety to the game and introduce new puzzle solving mechanics.

Development
Luigi's Mansion 2 was announced during Nintendo's E3 conference in June 2011. Screenshots and a trailer for the game were released.
Development of the game started in late 2010, with Shigeru Miyamoto overseeing the production. Miyamoto stated that he chose to work on the sequel simply because he "wanted to" after using the original game to test the hardware of the Nintendo 3DS.
It is currently being developed by Next Level Games.

Like 3DS Buzz?
I played the first one and I really enjoyed it. The second one looks amazing. I can’t wait to see the story for this one. I hope the first mansion is easily and it gradually gets more difficult. There are a few things that were in the first one that I didn’t see or maybe the things I thinking of are in different areas of the mansions not recorded by Luigi’s Mansion 2. I wonder what the hallways will look like.
The graphics are absolutely amazing and I can’t believe no one’s posted, must be because it’s not at the top of the page. This is a must-buy. I hope one of these mansions at least have Boo hunting to do. The treasure chests are very different and more realistic. I will be looking over a lot of these games for any new information and I might want to know about.

Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaah…Luigi’s Mansion for Gamecube was pretty hard…I couldn’t even beat the boss. there usually gamecube games that have the hardest games,Super Mario Sunshine was pretty hard,but FINALLY i beat it!That’s like my second game i ever had on gamecube…actually i don’t have a gamecube but i use my wii.But maybe when Super Mario 3d land and Mario Kart 7 is released and find out there hard games or not,maybe Luigi’s Mansion 2 can be the same thing!I hope they make a Super Mario Sunshine for 3ds like a Super Mario Sunshine 2
But not with a stupid name like wuhu island in Super Mario Sunshine,Add new characters like Mario with F.L.U.D.D and Luigi with his poltergust and toad with his jet pack(From Mario Party 6)And they should put how the ending should do in Luigi’s Mansion 2 like you can be playable as Mario!!!:D he can also use luigi’s poltergust to to suck goghst!Be more cool if they had Luigi’s Mansion 2 on Wii u….but naaaaaaaaaaaah……….i rather play it on 3ds.I hope more news comes soon!:)THIS GAME WILL BE EPIC>:D
