Overview

Madden NFL 3DS is the newest game for the series' popular Madden Football series. It promises to include "new game modes", and "immersive 3D" while keeping to its old core roots. As this game does not follow the yearly releases following each NFL football season, Madden NFL Football 3DS may have players from many different seasons. Although the game does have extensive single-player gameplay modes, no online or local multi-player modes are available.

Gameplay

Madden NFL features the "Gameflow" option that was first introduced in the console versions of Madden 11. By using "Gameflow", players will let the game automatically pick "the best" play available on the field based on plays made in the real NFL league. If the player does not want to let the game use "Gameflow", the player also has the option to pick "arcade" play calling, which lets the player have limited control over plays. "Classic" playcalling gives the player full control over the plays he/she wants over his/her team. Players can use the touch screen to assign "Hot Routes" to each Wide Receiver. This feature is named 'Call Your Shots'. Also new to the 3DS is "Spotlight Moments", which slows down gameplay and zooms in on the player during a crucial moment of a play. This game was the only madden NFL game that did not have a multi-player mode in it. It s unknown why they didn't include a multi player mode.

Game Modes

There are two game modes available to play in Madden NFL Football 3DS, but the only way they vary is in the size of teams. Eleven-On-Eleven Mode allows you play a full official game of football, and this has been the core game mode for the Madden NFL series. Five-On-Five mode breaks away from normal NFL football games. In Five-On-Five mode, there are no penalties, there is no playclock, and the first team to score a set number of touchdowns wins unlike Eleven-On-Eleven mode, which determines the winner based on who has more points after time runs out. Both game modes are featured only in the season mode, which takes the player and the team through a full season up to the Superbowl.

Release

Madden NFL Football has been released in all three regions, albeit the fact that only North America has a concrete release date, and it released before the 3DS itself was released. Madden NFL Football 3DS is available everywhere, and is priced at $39.99 in North America. dissertation writer
