It is a 3DS exclusive The DS version took place over a 7 day period, wheras this version will have an Eighth day. This game will be fully voice acted, with enhanced visuals.

Plot
The Plot will be set in Modern Tokyo. The Protagonist, and his friends are given devices called COMPs by his cousin, Naoya. Suddenly there is an outbreak of demons, and Tokyo becomes Chaos. Development
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor was published and developed by Atlus. Its music was composed by Takami Asano (of the band Godiego), and its designs were illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. Atlus opened a teaser site for Devil Survivor, which revealed both the composer and the illustrator for the game. When asked whether Devil Survivor was inspired by The World Ends with You, Atlus stated that, while it had similarities with The World Ends with You's seven day limit and being set in modern day Japan, a lot of elements found in The World Ends with You have been seen in previous Shin Megami Tensei games.

A 3DS port of the DS version? :S
Probably.
As I’ve heard, yes it is just a port, just with Voice Overs and other things, kind of like Persona 3 port (if I remembered right..).
Well, it’s not just a simple port. You can think of it like Devil Survivor FES, it has more demons, voice acting, and it has an eighth day which adds nearly 25% more gameplay on to the original game.
It will also have redrawn sprites and characters. I like the idea of the eight day after you have gotten an ending, I kind of hope there will be more to the endings that way.
This. THIS.
Pardon me while I go joysob and inform my friends of this wondrous development~
Though I’m sure that the voiceovers are going to produce so much Narm that I die laughing, I’ll still be getting this game.
Can it be next week now?
All in all, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked on 3DS is a worthwhile buy and addition to the collections of owners of the original due to the addition of an extra day full of new missions to the gameplay of the original and the awesome voice narration.
