Overview
Tekken 3D Prime features the classic fast paced fighting style just like every other Tekken game, Harada the creative director also confirmed loads of "special surprises" for the game and will be shipped with a copy of the film Tekken: Blood Vengeance in full 3D. The game will run at 60 FPS(frames per second) even when it is in full 3D, however there is no 3D while playing online or locally. Also this game was released on the 16th February in Japan, the 17th February in Europe and on February 13th 2012 in North America.
Gameplay
Tekken 3D features the classic, high octane fighting like previous Tekken instalments. There will be 40 characters and stages, and there will also be 700 collectable Tekken cards. However, Tekken 3D prime does not feature a proper Story Mode, but does include a survival mode.
Special Survival Mode - Fight against fighters with one life meter. You can choose Survival against 5 opponents when you first play, but as you complete it another one will be unlocked with more enemies ans so on. Also you will be rewarded with Card points and Tekken Cards depending on how many opponents you take down.
Versus Battle - Fight against players locally or through wireless communication. While fighting in Local you must have two 3Ds systems and two Game Cards. Fight online with your favorite character(s), and put your wining strike percentage up. You get graded with each character on how many losses and wins you have done with that character.
Also in Internet Play you can choose Friendly Match and fight against friends registered on your 3Ds. Or Ranked Match where you fight against random Worldwide Players and customize how many rounds, round time, the opponents region (local or all), and their rank to match your fighting preferences.
Quick Match - Here you fight single against the CPU. You can customize the level you want to play this in options such as easy, medium, hard, etc.. In this mode you will fight against 10 opponents, and will level up in Rank Class such as Beginner, Master, Juggernaut etc. Also its great to prove your skills before going into a Versus Battle against other players, here you can also increase you Rank Percentage.
Practice - Here you can study and perfect each characters's basic moves and combos for use in battle on the Modes above. Great to lean your characters moves, and also to customize your button preferences on each character. In this move there is a list of each characters moves, and by clicking a move, you can view on the top screen how the move will look if performed in battle. (Make sure to try it!)
Tekken Cards - In this mode you can view and trade unlocked Tekken Cards that can be view in 3D using Street Pass. You will unlock these by fighting in Versus Battle, Quick Match, and Special survival. Also you can earn Card Points and even trade 10 Play Coins for 30 Card Points.
Profile - Here you can change your Player Name, Main Character, Custom Color or view Player Statistics (Your records). This is where you change everything that's about your preference. Custom Colors are acquire after you get to Rank Class of Juggernaut and win the next battles, if you win several you will be awarded a Custom Color.
And Of course...
Options - Here you can adjust game settings or delete save date. You can adjust the Difficulty, Round preferences, Sound and Subtitle settings, change the Control Setup, and watch the Credits.
