Overview

The Penguins of Madagascar is an action game by THQ and was originally announced via the big list of 73 3DS games shortly after E3. Since then, there has been no further news.

This videogame is based on the TV show, "The Penguins of Madagascar", which features a flock of four penguins from the Madagascar film series.

In the TV show, each penguin has a special ability. Skipper is the leader of the penguins, and is an all-rounder, being "ready for anything". Kowalski is the brains of the group, and can figure out a scientific solution to any problem. Kowalski cannot think based on impulse; rather, he has to analyze everything around him, and as a result, his fighting skills are poor. Rico is the "heavy man" of the group, and can cough up any weapon from his mouth. He also is the most daring of the group of four, but he is unable to talk in English, and his analytical thinking is poor. Private is a sort of apprentice to Skipper, and he also is good in every field, but his negotiating and "people" skills outmatch any of the group's skills. In the TV show, he is the one who usually provides a logical solution to the otherwise hare-brained schemes the group thinks of. The TV show is set in the Central Park Zoo in New York. Although these characteristics of the TV show may not transfer over to the 3DS game version of the show, some aspects of the show may be used.
