Layton Fans Of Europe, Prepare Yourselves For A Most Magnificent Luggage Tag

Nintendo have just a few of these to go around, so early Club Nintendo registration is being encouraged!

You’re a stylish young swot, and you don’t need to tell us that. You travel with only the finest of items, and a lovely leather luggage tag bearing the top hat of your favourite puzzle-solving gentleman-about-town is surely only going to complement your effortless sophistication.

To that end, Nintendo of Europe has announced that a lucky few, 5,000 to be precise, shall see their luggage adorned with a magnificent leather luggage tag, replete with the hat of Layton himself. This is to coincide with the much-anticipated 3DS release, Professor Layton And The Miracle Mask.

Truly, madly, deeply splendid!

How to get your hands on this finery? You’ll have to be fast. With only 5,000 to go around the entirety of Europe (which happens to be a large continent with, we believe, more than 5,000 3DS owners on it at least), Nintendo encourages you to register your copy of Miracle Mask with Club Nintendo as soon as possible.

Should you happen to wangle the game early, though, be advised that the eligibility for the luggage tag of Laytonness doesn’t officially open until October 26th 2012, 9AM CET/8AM BST. Register before then, and you’ll be jumping the gun.

You will also obviously need to be a member of Club Nintendo and be open to Nintendo newsletter emails. That’s how Nintendo will contact the lucky 5,000 European Layton fans who’ll be in receipt of this dandy tag. If you’re not currently receiving Nintendo correspondence, you run the risk of registering but not being able to be told how to receive the gift!

It’s a lovely limited edition offer that’s sure to please Professor Layton fans across Europe. It’s also a good way for Nintendo to encourage early adopters of Miracle Mask.

Then again, given how long fans have been waiting, the good Professor’s latest adventure is sure to sell like particularly hot cakes anyway.

How come this never happens in the U.S. ? I’d love to get my hands on one of those. 🙁

I hate it when Nintendo of Europe do things like this, and everyone in America starts complaining…
Even though they have a much larger Club Nintendo than we do here in Europe. For example, on the American Club Nintendo, you can download games using coins.
But enough ranting, I’m looking forward to getting one of these! 😀

I’m not complaining that Club Nintendo of America doesn’t have nice things, I’m just a huge fan of the Professor Layton series and would like something like that to be a reward.

  3. Hunthe says:

Why not just make it for both regions…
Or at least give us some kind of Layton thing….
