Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land Officially Dated
Finally!
The Nintendo 3DS has been through a lot in it’s current 6 month lifespan; lower than expected sales, lackluster initial software offerings, and stiff competitive pricing from it’s handheld rival Sony, but after so many lows, Nintendo is finally entering what could very well be looked back on as the 3DS’ golden era. An invigorating price drop, an amazing ambassador program for loyal, early adopting fans, and of course, strongest of all, an extremely solid software offering going into it’s first holiday season.
Of course we’ve already seen Ocarina of Time 3D come and go, Star Fox 64 3D is almost here, but what’s really going to shoot the 3DS into the software stratosphere isn’t (albeit it awesome) remakes, but the original titles – Mario titles to be exact. And two of the system’s biggest games ever now have solid release dates, while we knew that Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 were going to hit in November and December respectively, we now know exactly which days (in North America at least).
Super Mario 3D Land hits November 13th, and Mario Kart 7 will follow exactly three weeks later on December 4th. Gamers, start your pre-orders!

I myself am much more interested in super mario land. Can you guys help me please. I dont know wether to buy nfs the run for 3DS or super mario 3D land. I can only buy one and my 3DS is the only console I have. Please help.

Super Mario 3D land jets555 for two reasons 1. It’ll be a better game 2. Need for speed will drop in price over time but Mario ganesh tend to hold on to there value for a long time

i knew it a few months ago there was a post that super mario 3d land was being made and the first thing i wrote was “this game is coming on november 10-15″
also i love that they named it mario kart 7 it has a better ring to it than adding a different word

dammm, super mario 3d land comes 3 days just after my birthday. and i dont think i can wait almost a month to get mario kart 7 for christmas.
I’m pretty sure this is just a fairly unreliable rumour… Also, are these date for the US or Europe? I’d assume US since they’re sundays…
Alright, I take that back, it looks like this might be accurate! Maybe MTV actually got it right, and forced Nintendo to play their hand.
This is a very clever move by Nintendo, they know the Mario Kart games are very successful and popular, this will shift a lot of units for Christmas, especially if they do bundle deals! I can see the 3DS being close to sold out for Christmas, I know iPod touches are popular at Christmas, but like everybody has one already!!

Too little, too late!! I sold my 3DS on Tuesday after getting completely fed-up with the lack of games being released. I also pre-ordered a Sony Vita. … So long Nintendo, my wallet is forever out of your reach!!

Seems you chose the wrong time to give up on Nintendo, 2012 is going to be their year, what with all the 3DS games penciled in for then, the release of the Wii U and yes since the Mario games are coming at the end of this year most of the gameplay of them will be 2012 so I’m classing them for N2012
