Fact: 3DS NOT Getting Two Zelda Titles *UPDATED*
Poor Japanese proves Zelda farce.
Done with Ocarina of Time 3D? Conquered Link’s Awakening? Luckily for you, it looks as if there isn’t one, but TWO portable Zelda games on the horizon. Though not confirmed by Nintendo, inside sources say the 3DS games will work collaboratively, much like Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons released for the GameBoy Color in 2001. According to the inside source, the newest Zelda adventures will be dubbed Legend of Zelda: Fire Prophecy and Legend of Zelda: Ice Prophecy.
Nintendo has already announced that a Zelda game is in the works for the 3DS, so this information could very well be accurate. Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons had two distinct worlds, each featuring different challenges, items and boss battles. Will these new Zelda titles be the same way? How will they interact? Where will they fall in Zelda time line? What art style will be used? Only time will tell, but we may have to wait until this year’s E3 to get the main details on any new Zelda games. Keep in mind that this is a rumor, and may very well be fake. Wouldn’t it be great it if it wasn’t though?
UPDATE – Many fans who are fluent in Japanese, including our very own Kriffix, have noted that the Japanese text in the picture above isn’t quite up to snuff. The image could be fan-made, but chances are this entire rumor is a farce. I can neither confirm nor deny if this rumor is indeed a fake, but there’s a good chance it is. Thanks to any commenters who took the time to translate the Japanese text! We will follow up on this rumor when it is confirmed or denied by Nintendo.
UPDATE 2 – Sadly, these Zelda rumors have been proven fake. Though the idea of two Zelda games for the 3DS is a wonderful one, we’ll have to wait. As stated above, Nintendo is working on a Zelda title for the 3DS at this time. It is not, however, either of these two games.

This is definitely fake. 火 (hi) is Japanese whilst アイス (Aisu) is just an katakana-ization of the English word. It does’t match up! Its so unprofessional. Not to mention the fact that if you say アイス in Japanese it tends to mean Ice Cream anyway!!
Whats more, Though not totally out of the question I doubt they’d use the word プロフェシー for prophecy when theres so many better Japanese options.
I doubt this message will be taken into account though since 3DSbuzz staff never really read the comments and make the appropriate corrections (no offence, but in my experience on this site so far).
Oh, also its just wrong grammatically too lol. I glanced at it too fast since I wanted to hurry up and post its about how fake it was that I took the を as a の. Which means its not just that each title doesn’t match up, it doesn’t even make sense in general!

I was totally not expecting this. Not one but TWO Zelda games. I loved Oracle of Ages and Seasons when then came out (on another note, why aren’t they on the VC yet, Nintendo? hint, hint), I hope these two work just like them. My enthusiasm for Zelda 3DS went from nice to EXTREMELY SUPER MEGA MOTHER F***ING EXCITED.
Also, I just realized I’ll be paying the same for these as I did the SS limited edition bundle lol, but it will be totally worth it…..I hope

That it came from 4chan and the bad japanese as pointed out by kriffix seems to point towards it being fake…
But at the same time, I could see how it could be true. Considering it’s for 3ds, there could be streetpass functionality between the two similar to haw there were passwords for the seasons and ages games. That would be pretty cool, I must say
