Spirit Camera Promotional Mini Movie

Fatal Frame spinoff gets a promotional movie filled with giggling girls and ghastly ghouls.

It had been reported a good deal back that Tecmo would be releasing a 3DS spin-off based on their paranormal photography series Fatal Frame. That game is now officially titled Spirit Camera: The Possessed Notebook, which may not carry the Fatal Frame name but is reportedly set in the same universe.

To promote the game, Nintendo released a short mini movie on their official channel. Featuring live actors (and not so live ghosts), this 12 minute short can be seen in full below:

The movie lacks subtitles, but you’ll get the gist of it; a trio of giggling Japanese schoolgirls try out the 3DS game, utilizing its AR functionality to take pictures of ghosts that materialize right in your living room. It doesn’t take long for this promotion to turn into a paranormal nightmare, as each girl soon finds themselves the victim of an unseen horror.

Anyone familiar with Japanese horror movies should know that they have a knack for creating some incredibly frightening situations, even if their superstitious fear of long black hair strands is somewhat questionable.

Oh yeah? It seems you put a lot of good effort into making a reply for me, and it’s especially ironic, considering you said that ” nobody actually cares what you say negativley here.” If that’s the case, then why did you, Mr. Hypocrite, even bother commenting on what I said? Idiot…

Will this be coming to the west?
