Hiya folks! This, i'm sure, has baffled nearly everyone: What is the purpose of the end of the McFlurry spoon which is square? And also the use for the clip-thingy? People say it's used for a straw, but that leaves 2 questions: Why is it square shaped? And why has it only got a hole (5mm-ish) in the middle of it? Some people also say that the whole thing is designed so that the spoon can clip on to a machine, the flavour of the McFlurry (eg. Crunchie, smarties) can be filled in the squarey bit and you have your flavour. But the questions would be: Why? And the only exit once entered inside the spoon is that small hole; which not very many things fit through! And if anyone works/has worked at McDonalds, could you perhaps provide an answer for us all?
